Eric Clapton and Pattie Boyd
Eric married Pattie Boyd on the May date in 1979, having lived with her since 1974. The couple had no children, despite trying IVF, and divorced in 1988 after Eric's affair with Italian model, Lory Del Santo, with whom he shared a son, Conor, who tragically died in an accident aged just four. The singer went on to wed Melia McEnery in January 2002, and the pair share three children – Julie Rose, Ella May and Sophie Belle.
